"In 2024, Ukraine caught up with Russia in terms of the number of production of kamikaze drones similar to Shahed-131 and Shahed-136, as well as in the production of other attack drones. What explodes in Russia is all ours", said Alexander Kamyshin, Minister of Strategic Industries. "And this is a fact", Smetanin emphasized.

The head of Ukroboronprom said that this became possible thanks to the cooperation of state-owned companies with private ones.

At the same time, he stressed that private enterprises alone cannot provide the required number of drones produced, and therefore Ukroboronprom signs a license agreement with them, under which state-owned companies are involved in production.

• Earlier, the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov stated that in 2024 Ukraine increased the production of long-range strike drones tenfold compared to last year.
