The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, thanked the Netherlands for its readiness to transfer the first 18 F-16 fighters to Ukraine. The Head of State emphasized the importance of receiving financial assistance from the EU as soon as possible.

"Had a phone conversation with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte, during which I thanked the Dutch government for the decision to start preparing the first 18 F-16 fighters for delivery to Ukraine. He also thanked the Netherlands for their active support of the start of negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU", - Zelenskyy wrote.
The President of Ukraine emphasized the importance of providing our country with long-term financial assistance from the EU in the amount of 50 billion euros as soon as possible.
In addition, the leaders of both states discussed developments at the front, the situation in the Black Sea and the current military needs of Ukraine.
"We agreed to continue our joint work on security guarantees in accordance with the G7 Vilnius Declaration", - Zelenskyy said.
In conclusion, the interlocutors discussed the next meeting of the advisors on the Peace Formula and efforts to further consolidate international support for Ukraine's vision of a just peace.
