A surgeon of St. Luke's Hospital in Lviv was detained for forging documents to evade mobilization. The doctor demanded 2 thousand dollars for his "services".

The Lviv City Council's press service reported this incident.

According to the investigation, a surgeon at St. Luke's Hospital, together with third parties, demanded $2 thousand from a patient for an extract from a medical record about the presence of a disease that exempts from military service.

"Surgeon O. Holub has been working in the medical institution since 2001. Now the doctor's office is being searched. It is known that the doctor will be suspended from work for the duration of the investigation", - the Lviv City Council said.

The Lviv City Council also promised to facilitate the investigation of this case as much as possible so that all those responsible would be punished.
