This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.

The tasks of the new Office include: ensuring coordination and planning of work within the coalitions of capabilities, building interaction between coalitions and analyzing communications with partner states.

The Ministry reminds that the format of capability coalitions appeared in 2023 to enable partner countries to provide more effective assistance within the framework of the Contact Group on Ukraine's defense.

According to the procedure, each coalition is headed by the leading countries, which involve other states in its work.

"Thus, there are dozens of NATO countries participating in all coalitions today. Also, countries such as Japan and Australia have already announced their intention to participate or are considering joining various coalitions. In 2024, the format of assistance to Ukraine will be modified into the so-called "Ramstein 2.0". This means that from now on, Ukraine's allies will provide their support mainly not on an individual basis, but in a coalition format and in accordance with the current need", the Ministry of Defense adds.
