10 thousand animals from 48 shelters received "F-support"
Concerned Ukrainians, together with the Foxtrot network and the Happy Paw Foundation, raised more than UAH 1.1 million for the needs of stray animals as part of the F-Support charity campaign
In April, Foxtrot announced the results of the 16-month campaign. During the program to support internally displaced pets, 9973 rescued tails were helped, which are under the care of 48 shelters, which is almost 20 tons of food and 5860 medicines.
Including during the last 3 months of the social initiative, namely January-March 2024, we managed to increase the amount raised to UAH 1.1 million and help another 1861 furry animals.
The organizers of the campaign sent food, cereals, medicines (vaccines, parasite treatments) to 8 shelters located on the front line or to organizations that have taken in the tails rescued from the war zone: "Grateful Paw" (Novoukrainka), "Heart of a Friend" (Uman), "Loyalty" (Dnipro), "Manana" (Brovary district), "Chance for Life" (Nikopol), "Good Heart" and "Bim" from Kropyvnytskyi and Babynets animal shelter (Kyiv region).
"All the activities we implement together with Foxtrot have one key value — regular and stable support for the basic needs of stray tails. While we are helping, shelters can focus their efforts on adopting animals to families and rescuing new cats and dogs. This is how F-support became our largest and longest fundraiser. And this challenge was worth it, because together we were able to help those people who gave a chance for life and sheltered the four-legged evacuees from the war zone", comments Lyudmila Yenzheevskaya, curator of the Happy Paw Foundation.
In addition, Foxtrot continues its social mission to improve living conditions in shelters to ease the workload of employees while caring for animals.
In February-March, 4 shelters received new equipment from Foxtrot:
● "Animal Rescue" (Kharkiv) - a large refrigerator;
● "Save our souls" (Hadiach) and "Favorite animals" (Kamianske) - washing machines;
● "Soul of a Stray", (Kamianets-Podilskyi) - a dryer.
"Helping lonely tails in shelters is an integral part of Foxtrot's corporate culture. This is also the "F-support", when the intention to help animals affected by the war was realized in such a large-scale and, most importantly, effective project. Both technical assistance and information support are important for shelters. We are grateful to everyone who shares our values and makes our animals happier together. And we are not slowing down, and very soon the updated social program from Foxtrot will start its mission", said Oleg Nikolsky, Foxtrot's marketing director.
It should be noted that in the second year of the war, Foxtrot retailer implemented a large-scale program to support animals and shelters that were forced to evacuate from the war zone. In November 2023, "F-Support" was recognized as the best communication case in corporate philanthropy and received the Communications Innovators 2023 award from the specialized publication MMR. In the meantime, we remind you that pets from shelters are waiting for new loving owners. Choose your little friend right now !
