In early March, Alla Pugacheva reacted to the words of putinist russian singer Stas Mikhaylov, who criticized artists who left russia. The singer said that "normal people" do not plan to return to the aggressor country.
In April last year, Borodin appealed to the russian Prosecutor General's Office to check Alla Pugacheva on the financing of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The artist and her family moved to Israel, and after a massive Hamas attack, they moved to Cyprus.
