It became known how many other officials, besides Poroshenko, have not been allowed to go abroad
More than 2000 officials have not been released since the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution restricting the travel of civil servants
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported how many MPs and civil servants were not allowed to leave Ukraine after January 30, 2023, when the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a relevant resolution.
This was reported by the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service Andriy Demchenko on Radio Liberty.
"The government has obliged all state bodies to provide the State Border Guard Service with lists of all persons who fall under these positions. That is, we don't even have to figure out whether a person has this position or not. There is data that is provided to us so that we can enter information into our database about these people and, in fact, let them go only on business trips", - Demchenko said.
He clarified that, under these rules, the State Border Guard Service prevented 2,270 individuals from leaving Ukraine.
It should be noted that on January 30, 2023, the Cabinet of Ministers passed a resolution prohibiting MPs, civil servants, and officials from traveling abroad unless on official business.
