TikTok accounts with content "that should not be viewed" will be blocked in Ukraine, — CCD
The Center for Countering Disinformation and the social network TikTok have a model for responding to accounts with content "that should not be viewed" and will start blocking them
This was reported by Espresso.
This was stated by Alina Bondarchuk, deputy head of the CCD, during a telethon.
She said that the CCD, together with TikTok, have a model for responding to content that "should not be viewed", referring to videos posted by russian bots. Bondarchuk noted that the list of such users is available on the Center's website and in its social networks, and they will be blocked in the future.
"Literally a couple more days and we'll already start blocking them", said the deputy head of the CCD.
At the same time, she emphasized that the blocking system responds to TikTok accounts by phone number and content matching, so if new users share the same videos, they will also be blocked.
"If TikTok sees that this content has already appeared, it can block such videos as well", Bondarchuk explained.
- On April 2, it was reported that TikTok could be banned in Ukraine if the social network continues to fail to respond to cases of russian propaganda. There is an appropriate mechanism for this.
