Czech Republic declares that it is no longer dependent on Russian gas imports
It is noted that the country managed to do this in a short period of time
Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala has announced that his country has successfully demonstrated its independence from Russian gas imports.
He announced this on his Twitter account.
It is noted that back in the spring, the Czech Republic faced the risk of a shortage of natural gas and difficulties in the field of energy security due to its dependence on Russia.
However, thanks to important measures, such as the opening of an LNG terminal in the Netherlands, which can meet a significant part of the demand, the Czech Republic has successfully achieved full independence from Russian gas.
