Denmark to join international coalition to ensure safety of navigation in the Red Sea - Reuters

Reuters does not provide details of the Danish Ministry of Defense's response, and the ministry has not officially announced its participation in the coalition

Denmark has announced its decision to join an international naval coalition led by the United States that will take measures to prevent attacks on merchant ships in the Red Sea.

This was reported by Reuters.

However, details on Denmark's specific contribution and role in this coalition remain unknown, as the Danish Ministry of Defense did not disclose details in its commentary.

In early December, the United States unveiled the Prosperity Guardian mission, which is expected to involve 10 allies, including the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Seychelles and Bahrain.

The aim of this initiative is to counter attacks by Iranian-backed Houthi rebels on commercial vessels crossing the Red Sea from east to west.
