What has changed in Zakarpattia after the grenade attacks in Keretsky

After a deputy blew up grenades in the building of the Keretsky village council during a meeting, security measures were decided to beef up in Zakarpattia. And the fake that the bomber was a soldier was launched by the Russians.

About this in an interview Ukrinform  said the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Viktor Mykyta.

"After the terrorist attack in Zakarpattia, we have strengthened security measures in the region. This primarily concerns educational institutions and an increase in the amount of forces and means aimed at preventing the import of weapons and ammunition into the region. Law enforcement officers are working effectively," said Mykyta.

He noted that it is a great tragedy for Transcarpathia.

"Someone gets the opportunity to get ammunition, and with it the desire to use it. Unfortunately, random people die because of this, and this is a big problem," Mykyta said.

According to him, if you are not at war, you have no right to take the lives of other people with impunity, so the criminal must be held accountable under the law.

At the same time, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Military Administration does not share the opinion of those who supported the bomber in social networks and called him a "people's avenger".

"This was very effectively used by the enemy, who incited enmity and hatred between people, trying to destabilize the situation in the region. A fake was launched that the suspect was a war veteran and a "messenger of justice". However, as it turned out, the bomber has no relation to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and has taken custody of his mother, thus avoiding mobilization," Mykyta emphasized.

He also clarified that after the refutation of this information, both the comments and most of those who spread them disappeared from social networks very quickly.

Recall that on December 15, in Transcarpathia, a deputy blew up grenades in the building of the Keretsky village council during a session meeting. Later it became known that the man was unhappy with what was happening in the village. In particular, he was outraged by the planned budget for 2024.
