The inflation rate in Sweden fell to the lowest level in almost 2 years

Annual inflation in Sweden fell to 5.8% in November 2023 from 6.5% in the previous two months, this figure is close to market forecasts, which anticipated a 6% rate.
This became known from Statistics Sweden.
This is the lowest rate since February 2022, primarily due to slower growth in prices for housing and utilities (8.8% vs. 9.4% in October), recreation and culture (7.6% vs. 9.8%), clothing and footwear (4.8% vs. 6.8%), miscellaneous goods and services (4.7% vs. 5.8%), and furniture and household appliances (3.6% vs. 5.2%).
On the other hand, inflation increased for transportation (2.3% vs. 2%) and health care (5.6% vs. 5.5%), while communication costs recovered (0.4% vs. -0.5%). On a month-on-month basis, consumer prices increased by 0.3% in November after rising by 0.2% in October.
