The inflation rate in the United States fell to 3.1%
It is noted that this is the lowest rate in the last five months

Annual inflation in the United States is likely to have slowed to 3.1% in November 2023, the lowest rate in five months, from 3.2% in October.

This was reported by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Compared to October, consumer prices are likely to have remained unchanged again due to falling energy costs, particularly gasoline, and used car prices. On the other hand, core inflation is expected to show some resilience, with annual core inflation stable at 4% and monthly inflation rising to 0.3% from 0.2%.

Inflation has been on the decline this year after peaking at 9.1% in June 2022, the highest since the early 1980s.
