Two trains collide in Italy: at least 17 injured

At least 17 people were injured on Sunday evening in northeastern Italy when two trains collided. The incident occurred on the Bologna-Rimini line between Faenza and Forlì.
The collision involved a Frecciarossa high-speed train travelling from Lecce to Venice with about 400 passengers and a regional train with 60 passengers, reports Agerpres.
Firefighters quickly got to work and rescue operations were completed. Local authorities are investigating the exact causes of the collision to establish responsibility and prevent similar incidents in the future.
