Romania will assist Ukraine in exporting grain through the Black Sea
Romanians will participate in the creation of anchorages and online queues for barge handling in the port of Constanța
Romania plans to facilitate grain exports from Ukraine by implementing initiatives such as the creation of additional anchorages and the introduction of online queues for barge handling in the port of Constanța.
This was announced by Dmytro Moskalenko, CEO of the state-owned shipping company Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company.
According to him, a new anchorage for Ukrainian agricultural products in the port of Constanta is planned to be launched in March next year. The agreement was reached during a meeting in Romania to expand the export capabilities of Ukrainian ports on the Danube.
Moskalenko also said that negotiations on the creation of anchorages with the Romanian side began in September. According to the agreement, Romania plans to hold a tender in January-February to develop the necessary regulations for the further implementation of the new anchorage.
