Prahova Valley Resorts, 100% Occupied
During the mini-holiday dedicated to Romania's National Day, the resorts of the Prahova Valley were at full capacity, with 100% occupancy. The accommodation units of APDT Prahova members were also fully occupied.
In Sinaia, National Day events were diverse and lively. The "Happy Market" festival brought creative joy and taste, ending on Sunday, 3 December. The 1 December events included recitals, concerts and an impressive military parade, providing a memorable spectacle on the Casino Esplanade, reports Agerpres.
The ski season was also officially inaugurated in Azuga with the opening of the Sorica and Cazacu slopes for beginners.
In Bușteni, the toboggan run has been operational since 30 November, offering fun for the little ones.
The municipalities of Câmpina and Breaza also recorded 100% occupancy, confirming the attractiveness of tourist destinations in Prahova.
In Ploiești, the National Day ceremonies were organized with pomp, gathering officials, military personnel and citizens around festive events. Traditional tastings of mulled wine and beans with sausages brought the community together in a festive spirit.
The day ended with an impressive torchlight retreat ceremony of military troops and a spectacular fireworks display in the Civic Centre of Ploiești Municipality.
The APDT Prahova public-private partnership contributed to the promotion of tourism in the region, and the activities carried out during this mini-holiday demonstrate the attractiveness and diversity of the tourist offer in Prahova.
