Ukraine and theInternational Monetary Fund have reached a staff-level agreement on the secondreview of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF), paving the way for Ukraine toreceive a tranche of nearly $900 million. This is stated on the officialwebsite of the International Monetary Fund .

"TheInternational Monetary Fund (IMF) staff and the Ukrainian authorities havereached a staff-level agreement (SLA) on an updated set of economic andfinancial policies for the second review of the 4-year Extended Fund Facility(EFF). The SLA is subject to approval by the IMF Executive Board," thestatement said.

The IMF notes that allquantitative performance criteria as of the end of June and indicative targetsas of the end of September have been met. In addition, most structuralbenchmarks have also been met. Accordingly, this paved the way for the IMFExecutive Board to consider a disbursement of about $900 million.

"I am pleased toannounce that IMF staff and the Ukrainian authorities have reached a staff-levelagreement on the second review of the EFF. The agreement is subject to theapproval of the IMF Executive Board, which is expected to be considered in thecoming weeks," said IMF representative Gavin Gray.

Earlier, the National Bank reported that on November 6, the IMF mission beginsdiscussing measures for the second review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF)program with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities.

"We are ready fora constructive analysis of the work done and a fruitful discussion on the nextsteps. The review will not be easy, but Ukraine's team has been working in acoordinated and effective manner for more than 20 months of full-scale war. Weclearly recognize the critical need to maintain the IMF's support not only tofurther finance the budget needs, but also for the development of our countryand its European future", - said NBU Governor Andriy Pyshnyy.

The IMF Board ofDirectors approved a four-year Extended Fund Facility program in March. It ispart of an even broader package of international support worth $115 billion.
