Ukrainian project "Campaign waiting to happen” recognised at Cannes Film Festival

The Silver Dolphin is an award from the Cannes Film Festival

Ukraine's tourist attractions project, Campaign waiting to happen, is unlike any other participant at the Cannes Film Festival, but it has won the Silver Dolphin, an award from the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards. The project is planned to be implemented after Ukraine's successful victory.

The Cannes Dolphin recognises the best achievements in the fields of corporate films and videos, online media, production and documentaries. It is worth noting that this year, the organisers of the competition accepted the application from Ukraine free of charge.

The Ukrainian project "A Campaign Waiting to Happen" aims to promote the country's popularity through banner ads, publications and enchanting videos about major tourist locations. The #Oddee creative team, together with partners from the State Agency for Tourism Development, selected six key locations, developed the main idea, key messages and means of their dissemination.

"We created scenarios for each video, taking into account the specifics of the locations and the interests of the target audience. We presented the energetic life of Kyiv, shared hypnotic and slightly eerie views of Chornobyl that will interest extreme sports enthusiasts from all over the world. Of course, we drew attention to the resorts of the Carpathians with their opportunities for a relaxing and comfortable holiday and unique atmosphere. We also paid attention to other cities and locations," said Ivan Bazar, co-founder of #Oddee, describing the details of the campaign.

The main idea of the campaign is to demonstrate the diversity and uniqueness of Ukraine, its beauty and opportunities for various types of recreation. The authors of the project want to encourage people from all over the world to learn more about Ukraine and visit it in person after the conflict ends.
