YOY , a Ukrainian restaurant, has been shortlisted for the prestigious BBC Good Food awards in two categories: New Restaurant and Casual Dining Restaurant.

The ambassador of the restaurant, hostess Vasilisa Frolova, shared this good news on her Facebook page on 4 September 2023.

In her message, she stressed that this is a historic event, as it is the first time that a Ukrainian restaurant has appeared on the list of the best restaurants in the region.

"For 10 months now, YOY Dubai has been giving me strength and inspiration, drawing the attention of many people to Ukraine every day. We have achieved a lot, but now I want to share another important news and ask for your support," she wrote.

Frolova urged her followers to vote for the restaurant and support the project, emphasising that it is a unique opportunity to represent Ukraine internationally.
