The Executive allocates 1.58 billion lei
Money foradministrative-territorial units
The Government approved on Wednesday the allocation of 1.58 billion lei from the Budget Reserve Fund available to the Government for the payment of current and capital expenditure and to support investment programmes in 3,044 administrative-territorial units.
This decision comes in the context of rising prices for utilities and construction materials, affecting some administrative-territorial units in securing sources of financing. The amount allocated will cover essential expenditure such as salaries, child protection, social assistance, and will contribute to the co-financing of projects with non-reimbursable funding or from national programmes under implementation, announce bugetul.ro.
The Minister for Development, Public Works and Administration, Adrian-Ioan Veștea, stresses that these funds will ensure the continuity of the functioning of local public authorities and subordinate public services.
