The eRobota programme: grants for starting your own business
Natalia Plakhtoniuk, the wife of a defender who received a grant from the eRobot programme, opened a children's learning centre in Bucha, Kyiv Oblast. At this centre, children will be able to learn English, speed reading, mental arithmetic and other development programmes.
Natalia made the decision to open her business during the shelling, when she was in her own home: "I thought a rocket was coming, and I didn't even try." So when the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine launched a programme of grants for military personnel and their families, it helped Natalia to realise her plan.
The eRobota programme provides an opportunity to start and develop their own business, including processing enterprises. Both experienced entrepreneurs and those with no business experience can apply for a grant. Applications are accepted through the Diia portal.
As a reminder, a bookstore and a kitchen furniture studio were opened in the very centre of Kyiv thanks to a grant from the eRobot programme. In addition, a company in the Zhytomyr region, having received a grant and implemented modernisation, was able to increase its production by 2.5 times.
