More than 30 producers will present traditional Romanian products such as cheeses, meat, fruit, vegetables, pastries and preserves

From 1-3 December 2023, Bucharest residents are invited to the "Poftim, din România!" fair, organised in Tudor Arghezi Park by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in partnership with the Municipality of Sector 4 and the Caprirom Sud Muntenia Agricultural Cooperative.

More than 30 producers will present traditional Romanian products such as cheeses, meat, fruit, vegetables, pastries and preserves. The main attractions will be home-cooked dishes such as: sarmals, ciolanul cu fasole, pastrama, bulzul and delicious desserts. Visitors will also be able to buy handmade products made by folk craftsmen and cosmetics made with lavender, reports radiovacanta.ro.

The event will also offer traditional musical surprises to preserve the authenticity of Romanian folk holidays. Agriculture Minister Florin Barbu urges people to buy Romanian on National Day and support local producers who preserve traditions and invest in modern farms and factories.

The initiative "Poftim, din România!" is part of the MADR's strategy to work with local authorities to provide free space for producers to organise mobile markets and to help shoppers identify and choose authentic Romanian products more quickly.
