The motorcade of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban was involved in an accident in Germany. As a result, a German policeman was killed and another officer was injured
The accident occurred in the city of Stuttgart.
A 69-year-old woman drove a BMW over a barrier and crashed into the motorcycle of a 61-year-old police officer who was escorting Orban's car.
The force of the impact threw the policeman's BMW into the motorcycle of a 27-year-old officer who was escorting Orban. Both officers were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The 61-year-old police officer died shortly afterward in the hospital.
The Bild noted that Viktor Orban was in Germany for the European soccer championship, the night before watching the Hungarian national team's victory over Scotland in the previous round of the European championship.
