Netherlands to allocate €60m to buy drones for Ukraine

It is stated that €20 million of the €60 million will be used to purchase FPV drones through a "drone coalition" within the Ukrainian Defense Contact Group.

At the same time, 17.5 million of this funding will go to the purchase of maritime drones, as well as their production in Ukraine.

The Netherlands will use the remaining funds for bilateral deliveries of UAVs of various types and their procurement from its industry.

  • On May 28, the Dutch Ministry of Defense launched a new initiative to transfer the Patriot system to Ukraine and called on countries to join it.
