Germany and the Czech Republic seek to start negotiations in the EU on complete rejection of Russian energy carriers

It is noted that the countries will ask Brussels to start regular high-level talks — possibly between the countries' energy ministers — on how to completely stop importing Russian energy.
Berlin and Prague plan to do so during a meeting of EU energy ministers in Brussels on May 30, the report said.
The newspaper added that Russia cut gas exports to Europe after its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, after which the EU replaced Russian fuel with renewable energy and more gas from other suppliers. However, last year, the unit still received 15% of its gas from Russia.
