"Glovo's operations are financially and legally transparent and comply with the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine. As one of the largest taxpayers in Ukraine, the company received the status of a critical enterprise based on a number of criteria, including the amount and regular payment of taxes, the level of wages and the absence of any debt to the state", Glovo said in a statement.

The company added that for more than 5 years of operation in Ukraine since 2018, they have paid a total of about UAH 1 billion in taxes.

"The Glovo technology company under the legal name GLOVOAPP UKRAINE LLC currently has 108 employees, of which 10 are booked. The list of employees for booking is determined by the head of the company based on their criticality for the company's activities and within the limits set for the company in accordance with the official algorithm for booking employees published by the Ministry of Digital Transformation", Glovo added.

They also noted that couriers connected to the platform are self-employed, so their booking is not possible.

"In Ukraine, Glovo also has another line of business within GLOVOPROM UKRAINE LLC, which has other KVEDs and does not fall under the booking criteria. This company has more than 50 employees. 10 employees of Glovo are currently mobilized", the statement also reads.

The company emphasizes that it exercised its legal right to reservation.
