In addition, russia will soon deploy its newest Koalitsiya-SV howitzers in the Northern Military District, which borders Finland and Norway, said sergey chemezov, head of the state defense conglomerate rostec. According to him, the testing of these self-propelled artillery systems has been completed, and serial production has already begun, so the first pilot batch will be delivered by the end of 2023.

"I think they will appear there (in the Northern Military District - Ed.) in the near future, as howitzers of this class are needed to ensure an advantage over Western artillery models in terms of range", - chemezov said.
