The risk of jihadist attacks is growing in the country

Italy is taking security measures against the possible risk of terrorist attacks on its squares on New Year's Eve. 

This is stated in the circular of the country's Public Security Department.

This step was taken in the face of the growing risk of jihadist attacks in connection with the war in Gaza. The circular also states that environmental activists can take advantage of the opportunity to organize events that will attract media attention.

The department also warned of a possible recurrence of mass sexual assault incidents similar to those that occurred in Piazza del Duomo in Milan two years ago.
