West Side Christmas Market opens Wednesday in Drumul Taberei Park

The City Hall of Sector 6 announces that the West Side Christmas Market will open its doors on Wednesday at 7pm in Drumul Taberei Park. The event, voted the most beautiful Christmas market in Romania in 2022, promises to offer Bucharest residents a fairy tale land for 28 days, until December 27. Main attractions include an ice rink, carousel, Ferris wheel, Santa's little house, elf workshop, concerts, and traditional culinary treats.
According to local authorities, the first Christmas market to open in the Capital, the West Side Christmas Market has been recognized for its fairy tale atmosphere and diversity of offerings, attracting 1 million visitors in 2022. This year's program includes children's activities at Santa's Cottage and the Elf Workshop, as well as concerts on the stage set up in the park. The event will be open until 27 December, with opening hours from 12:30 to 22:30 on weekdays and 11:00 to 22:30 on weekends. Access is facilitated by public transport, with stops nearby.
