Rapper A$AP Rocky is set to stand trial in January after being accused of firing a gun at his former A$AP Mob member, A$AP Relli . The preliminary hearing in Los Angeles ruled that there was sufficient evidence for the trial, despite A$AP Rocky pleading not guilty to the charges.

The incident, which occurred on November 6 2021, took place outside the W Hotel in Hollywood. A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, allegedly lured A$AP Relli to discuss a disagreement, wherein he fired a handgun at him. A$AP Relli (Terell Ephron) sustained minor injuries.  

The rapper has pleaded not guilty to the charges and could face up to nine years in prison if convicted. 

Superior Court Judge M.L. Villar made the ruling at the preliminary hearing after hearing roughly a day and a half of testimony. If convicted, A$AP Rocky could face nine years in prison for the alleged incident .

The rapper's legal situation has garnered significant attention, especially given his high-profile relationship with recording star Rihanna and his role as the father of her two sons.The trial is expected to shed more light on the alleged incident and its circumstances, and it will be closely followed by fans and the public alike.
