Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Oleksandr Kornienko, says Zelenskyy will sign the law on mobilization after it is checked by the Presidential Office for compliance with the Constitution.

This was reported by espreso.tv

Kornienko added that before signing the law, the Presidential Office will check its compliance with the Constitution, after which it will be signed by the President.

"Optimistically, in the next two weeks it will be published and come into force, and then we need to count down certain terms, because some of the norms are immediately effective, and some are effective in a month," the deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada explained.
  • Recall that the Verkhovna Rada adopted the draft law on mobilization as a whole at a meeting on April 11. It was supported by 283 MPs.
