When Ukrainians can expect a power outage: DTEK named four conditions
DTEK has named four conditions for the introduction of hourly power outage schedules in Ukraine, which will be a way to balance the energy system
This was reported by espreso.tv
According to him, Ukrainians can expect blackouts if thermal generation is not restored.
The second problem may be an increase in electricity consumption due to the heat. This usually happens in July and August.
The third challenge may be a shortage of electricity that Ukraine receives from Europe.
And also among the conditions, Sakharuk named the inability to transfer the necessary amount of electricity to certain regions.
"Then the only way to balance the system is to reduce consumption. The only way to reduce consumption is to use hourly blackout schedules", said the DTEK representative.
He noted that only if all the above conditions are met, there is a possibility of introducing hourly blackout schedules throughout Ukraine.
- Dmitry Sakharuk, Executive Director of DTEK, noted that the Ukrainian energy system is currently balanced.
