The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allowed Kharkiv local authorities to exempt businesses from paying three types of taxes

This was reported by espresso.tv

This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, at a meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities.

"By the government's decision, we have today allowed local authorities to exempt businesses from local taxes. These are three taxes: a single tax, rent and property fees", the Prime Minister said.

Shmyhal emphasized that such a step would reduce the tax burden at least for Kharkiv, and the shortfall would be compensated from the national budget.

"In turn, we will compensate for the shortfall in revenues from the state budget. This applies to Kharkiv, but it is also valid for all other territories. We have made it a universal mechanism", the Prime Minister added.
  • On the night of April 11, the russian army struck at least 10 strikes on the critical infrastructure of Kharkiv and the region, leaving 240 thousand residents without electricity. At the same time, the subway managed to launch in the morning. Later it became known that as a result of the russian attack on Kharkiv, a transformer substation was completely destroyed and a thermal power plant was damaged.
