Director of the Defense Express information and consulting company Serhiy Zgurets believes that the enemy used a new X-69 cruise missile against Trypilska TPP

He said this on the air of the Espresso TV channel.

"When we talk about the situation with the Trypilska TPP, we did provide an analysis on the Defense Express portal that there is a high probability that the enemy used the X-69 cruise missile. This is evidenced by the wreckage, which was reported to us by experts who worked in the area of the TPP. What is the peculiarity of this missile and what are the risks? We wrote on our portal that this missile is more dangerous than the Kinzhal. This name has been criticized, but I will try to explain. The X-69 cruise missile has a range of about 400 km, although it was previously believed to have a range of 290-300 km. It can be used from front-line aircraft, including Su-35 and Su-34. If the X-101 is used from strategic bombers and it is possible to determine the previous time, then a significant number of Su-35s, provided that the X-69 is produced more massively, creates a greater opportunity for the enemy to use these cruise missiles", Zgurets said.

According to the military expert, the X-69 missile has a lower flight level, within 20 meters, but we cannot yet unequivocally state this. We understand that this is much less than the flight altitude of the X-101 missile.

"This increases the requirements for our air defense. That is, we can say that the enemy used a new cruise missile X-69 against the Trypilska TPP, it turned out to be quite accurate. We are waiting for confirmation and additional data about the wreckage of this missile", Zgurets added.
