Ukrainian/russian Party: Potap gave a concert in a club in Germany, where russians are always performing

Ukrainian music producer and rapper Potap performed in a German nightclub with russian-language songs from the repertoire of Potap & Nastya, Vremya & Steklo, and MOZGI.

Ukrainian musician and producer Oleksiy Potapenko, better known as Potap, who was abroad most of the time during the full-scale war, gave his first concert in a club in Germany in more than 2 years.

russian artists often perform in this establishment, and their shows are attended by emigrants and tourists from russia. Potap's concert was also in the Ukrainian/russian Party format. In this way, the musician continues to create a common cultural space with the russian federation and broadcasts russian propaganda narratives abroad about the closeness of the cultures and peoples of Ukraine and russia.

According to the publication, together with MOZGI band member Dred, DJ and soloist, Potap performed a russian-language hodgepodge of hits from all the bands he was involved with - Potap & Nastya, Vremya i Steklo, MOZGI. All the female parts were performed by Daria Shevchenko, a native of Dnipro.

The co-owner of the music catalog of these bands' hits is Iryna Horova, Potap's ex-wife, co-founder of the production center and CEO of the Pomitni label (MOZGI Entertainment until 2022).


Earlier, showbiz media observer Bogdan Bespalov drew attention to the fact that on April 13, Potap will give a solo concert at the Prime - Dance & Nightlife nightclub in the German city of Bielefeld. As you can see in Prime's social media, the venue often organizes concerts and shows for russians.

The poster lists the rapper from Ukraine as a russian retro artist.

Later, Potap commented on the poster, explaining that it had not been agreed with him. He apologized and invited everyone to the concerts.
