Ukrainian music producer and rapper Oleksiy Potapenko, better known as Potap, commented on the poster of his concert in a nightclub in Germany, which listed him as a russian retro artist. The performer from Ukraine explained that the poster had not been coordinated with him.
"It's the human factor. I'm not the only one who has been in such situations. I have been called many things, but not like on this poster," he said.
The poster has already been corrected.
"I apologize to anyone who was outraged by this. Come to the concerts. I apologize, we didn't see it through," Potap added.
Recently, showbiz media observer Bogdan Bespalov drew attention to the fact that on April 13, the artist from Ukraine, who has been spending most of his life abroad since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, will give a solo concert at the Prime - Dance & Nightlife nightclub in the German city of Bielefeld. As can be seen on Prime's social media, the venue often organizes concerts and shows for russians.

The poster for Potap's performance lists it as russian retro. The poster also says that Potap will perform songs from the repertoire of the bands Potap & Nastya, Vremya i Steklo, and Mozgi, which are russian-language bands.

"The poster is always approved with the management and the artist himself. Potap could not have been unaware of the presentation of himself as a "russian retro artist", Bespalov said.
In December 2023, Potap told how he was working in Spain for the benefit of Ukraine's show business and creating a positive image of the country.
