The objectives and activity of enemy troops in the direction of Bakhmut were noted by the command
According to Major Denys Nahornyi, after Avdiivka, the aggressor's main focus has shifted to Chasiv Yar
In a commentary for Espresso TV channel, National Guard Major, Chief of Staff of the Artillery of the 4th Rubizh Brigade Denys Nahornyi shared details about the situation in the Bakhmut sector.
"I am in the Bakhmut sector. The enemy has concentrated its main efforts on Chasiv Yar, launching an active offensive on Ivanivske and Bohdanivka. The enemy's goal is to reach the Siverskyi Donets-Donbas canal. Every day the aggressor is increasing its attacks with anti-aircraft gunships and artillery. Enemy FPV drones are especially active at night," noted Nahornyi.
He also added that despite the active counter-battery fight of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the enemy continues to use its forces to attack all positions and strongholds.
"Thus, after Avdiivka, the enemy has focused its efforts on Chasiv Yar, where it plans to continue the offensive," emphasized Nahornyi.
Andriy Otchenash, crew commander of the Kara Nebesna UAV of the 4th Rubizh operational brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, said that in the area of Chasiv Yar, there are 7 to 10 enemy soldiers per defender. The operational situation is complicated for several reasons. Mykola Malomuzh said that the enemy was not able to fully seize Chasiv Yar in Donetsk region, where positional battles with displaced maneuvers are currently underway.
