Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Ilya Yevlash said that the Defense Forces are ready to repel an air attack from the territory of Belarus.

He said this on Espresso.

"If missiles or planes start flying from Belarus to Ukraine and attack our territory, we are ready to repel their air attack. Our forces, in particular the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine, have proven to the world that we can conduct unique operations on enemy territory. Therefore, if there is a threat from the territory of Belarus, we will do everything possible to secure our airspace," Yevlash emphasized.

According to Yevlash, the Armed Forces are preparing for all possible scenarios.

"We must understand that aviation as a branch of the army is a highly mobile part of the army that can move quickly over long distances. Belarus has already allowed russia to attack Ukraine from its territory. Therefore, today we must be prepared for any enemy action, including a strike on enemy air targets," he said.
