In the village of Holmes Chapel in Cheshire, where the singer Harry Styles comes from, interviews will be held for the musician's fans, who could give tours

Over the past year, more than 5,000 fans of the popular singer Harry Styles, known as "Harris," have begun making pilgrimages to the artist's hometown of Holmes Chapel. It is noted that some of them "risked life and limb" to visit the site of Stiles' first kiss, a railroad bridge near the busy main road.

As a result, last year, the villagers published a map for a safe self-guided tour. Now the locals have decided to go even further. The Holmes Chapel Partnership community has announced the launch of its own official tours and is looking for Stiles superfans to lead them.

There are expected to be so many applicants for the position of Harry Styles' tour guide that The Holmes Chapel Partnership will hold an X-Factor-style selection. It was thanks to this talent show that Harry Styles became famous.

The group's chairman, Peter Viers, shared that they hope to hire Harris over the age of 16, but "even older people are welcome to apply". The influx of fans from all over the world has led to a business boom in Holmes Chapel, particularly in the bakery where Styles worked part-time before gaining fame with One Direction. W Mandeville's has a life-size cardboard poster of their most famous former employee holding the white bread that, predictably, became his bestseller.

During the tour, fans are also invited to visit Styles' former schools, the terraced cottage where he grew up, and the nearby Chinese restaurant where he once took Taylor Swift. The building, known to fans as "Harry's Wall," is also where Styles scrawled his name while filming a biopic released in 2013.

Viers said he expects strong demand for the new tours in June, which will run through September.

"Even in the rainy winter months, Harrisians continue to come, braving muddy banks and wet fields to pay their respects at Harry's Wall," he added.
