Former President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, has declared his readiness to run for the presidency in the next elections when the war in the country is over.

"If you are asking me if I plan to run in the next presidential election, yes," Poroshenko said.

However, he stressed that Ukraine must first win the war.

In addition, Poroshenko announced that he would run in the European Parliament elections. According to him, this will be proof that Ukraine will become a member of the EU.

"It is likely that I will have the honor of being a member of the European Parliament and doing everything possible for Ukraine," the former president emphasized.
