Ukrainian Armed Forces will see the accumulation of enemy forces, all conditions for the defense of Kyiv have been created, - MP Vasylchuk

Vadym Vasylchuk, a member of the Kyiv City Council and a serviceman, analyzed the situation with the capital's preparations for possible threats from the russian federation

He said this on the air of the Espresso TV channel.

"The border is constantly monitored by Ukrainian border guard units, using UAVs. Accordingly, if the situation changes, we will clearly understand where the enemy's forces and means are accumulated," Vasylchuk said.

According to him, the entire northern direction of Kyiv is under close protection of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The direction through the Chernobyl nuclear power plant has been strengthened. Also, having prepared fortifications, the Armed Forces have three different lines of defense to keep the capital safe," he added.
  • On March 28, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that russia could launch a new offensive in Ukraine in late May or June this year.
