The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine informs about this in Telegram.
Member of the Youth and Sports Committee Iryna Borzova notes that the purpose of this program is to create conditions for the return to civilian life for the entire family of the veteran.
This service is currently being implemented in three regions - Vinnytsia, Cherkasy and Poltava regions.
The program consists of two stages. The first is the social rehabilitation of veterans with their families at a sanatorium for a week.
"A team of specialists, social workers, psychologists will work with the whole family to develop a further plan, a further roadmap according to the needs of veterans' families for further transition to civilian life. Also, during the week, the veteran's family restores their physical and mental health," Borzova noted.
According to her, the developed plan should be transferred to social sector specialists in the community. This is how the second stage of the program is being implemented - social recovery in the community.
"And in the future, the veteran's family will be accompanied, in the future, they will provide the services that are necessary for this particular family - these are educational, treatment, rehabilitation, career guidance, employment assistance," said the Committee member.
