Ivan Varchenko, a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, national security expert, noted that the russian federation does not have the capacity to produce more missiles than it spends, so it needs a break to restore its missile potential

He spoke about this on Espresso.

"As for the russian missile potential, they needed to assemble missiles for a month and a half to deliver a strike that was painful and tangible for the Ukrainian energy system. They found that favorable tactical support for their terrorist operation and, after the strikes a few weeks ago, continued their intense missile terror. But they had enough for two more days, which is why we conclude that if the russians had a thousand missiles for yesterday and a thousand for today, these missiles, accompanied by two thousand "shaheds", would have been flying to Ukraine," the national security expert said.

According to him, since the russians have been gathering for a month and a half and after the resumption of missile attacks kept up the pace for a couple of days, this shows that they do not have the resources, and they need to gather for months again for another strike.

"We are dealing with a state that has the resources to bring up missiles now. The fact that they have started using 'zircons' in land warfare, which are not designed to hit ground targets, means that the enemy is already trying to pull out everything that can be put on the wing from all the cracks and bins. We can only guess how deep their bins are. However, the russians have fewer missiles, and they do not have the recovery capacity to produce more than they spend. The break to restore the missile potential in the russian federation may be a month and a half, or three months, or maybe even a couple of weeks, but we can roughly see the pace at which the russians are restoring and creating new missiles," commented Ivan Varchenko.
  • Earlier, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Kyrylo Budanov, said that the russian federation used X-101 cruise missiles instead of "calibers" because they are more effective. However, during this time, the russians have accumulated "calibers" that are ready for use
