russian attacks on the energy system: the Ministry of Energy told whether light tariffs will be raised
Despite russia's massive attacks on Ukraine's energy system, there is still no talk of raising electricity tariffs
About it writes espreso.tv
He explained why the authorities decided to raise tariffs last year.
"Tariffs were raised last year as a consequence of large-scale attacks on the energy sector. Without this decision, we would not have restored our energy sector and would not have gone through the winter the way we went through it - calm, stable and without blackouts," the minister said.
But now it is too early to talk about the increase because Ukraine has not yet calculated the losses caused by russia.
"We do not yet understand the scale of damage (after the last massive attack - ed.), a full assessment of the damage has not been carried out and it is not clear what money is needed for restoration. Therefore, there are no projects or developments on changing tariffs yet." - Galushchenko clarified.
