The bad weather cut off power to 19 settlements in Khmelnytskyi and five in Kyiv regions. For other reasons, 389 settlements remain without power

In Dnipropetrovsk oblast, power engineers have supplied power to 1.8 thousand subscribers who were cut off due to hostilities.

In Donetsk oblast, power engineers have supplied power to more than 5 thousand metering points in 18 settlements. At the same time, about 7 thousand subscribers were cut off from power supply as a result of new shelling. In total, 47 thousand metering points in 92 settlements remain without electricity in the region. Due to the hostilities in the region, 3.7 thousand metering points in 50 settlements are de-energized.

A power line in Zaporizhzhya was cut off as a result of shelling, leaving 37 subscribers without electricity. Due to the hostilities, 3.7 thousand metering points in 50 settlements in the region are without power. 

As a result of the hostilities, 5.6 thousand subscribers in 67 settlements of Sumy region are left without electricity.

Almost 3 thousand subscribers in Kherson remain without electricity, and 26.8 thousand metering points in 45 settlements in the region.

In Kharkiv region, power engineers have supplied power to 134 metering points in 3 settlements that were cut off due to shelling. As a result of yesterday's hostile attacks, 4 multi-storey buildings in Kharkiv (about 320 subscribers) were disconnected from the power supply, and there are also damaged lines in 4 settlements. Hourly network restrictions are in place for 220 thousand users in Kharkiv and the surrounding areas. Critical infrastructure has been powered. In total, 15.4 thousand metering points in 62 settlements in the region remain without power due to the hostilities.  

As a result of the shelling, overhead lines were disconnected in Chernihiv region, 900 consumers in six settlements lost power. Within an hour, the line was turned back on, and all consumers were supplied with power.

Lightning outages due to bad weather and technological disruptions

In Khmelnytskyi region, due to deteriorating weather conditions, 1.2 thousand customers in 19 settlements were cut off from power supply.

Power engineers in Dnipropetrovsk region restored electricity supply to 2.5 thousand customers who were without power as a result of technological disruptions.

In Kyiv region, about 300 metering points were left without electricity due to technological disruptions.

Consumption and generation

An unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down on the territory of one of Ukrenergo's 330 kV substations in the south of the country, and a fire broke out due to the fall of its fragments. The fire has been extinguished.

The TPS building is undergoing short-term repairs. Despite this, there is no shortage in the power system. Windy and sunny weather favors the operation of renewable energy plants.

Due to damages in the grids, hourly outage schedules are in effect in Kharkiv and Odesa regions. Yesterday, there were also blackouts in Khmelnytskyi region during peak load hours. Emergency blackouts were introduced in Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv oblasts.

Today, the schedules will be in effect only in Kharkivska oblast.

Yesterday, at the request of Poland, Ukraine transferred 100 MWh of excess electricity to the Polish power system within an hour.

Import and export

On Thursday, it is planned to import electricity from Romania, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Moldova in the total amount of 13,087 MWh with a maximum capacity of up to 1,494 MW in some hours.

There will be no exports.
