A 12-year-old boy died as a result of shelling by the russian military. In addition to the death of the child, the enemy attack damaged a kindergarten and residential buildings.
Oleksandr Tertyshnyi, head of the Borova military unit, in an interview with Suspilne, detailed the circumstances of the tragedy.
"The boy and his parents were returning home when the shelling took place. The boy was taken to the hospital in critical condition from shrapnel wounds, where, unfortunately, he died," he said.
Tertyshnyi also noted that the village was hit twice: once near a kindergarten and once near a residential building.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the violation of the laws and customs of war, which led to premeditated murder, in accordance with Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
