US election race: polls favor Biden for the first time since August
US President Joe Biden is ahead of his rival Donald Trump for the first time since August last year, according to opinion polls

According to updated data from March 21 on opinion polls, Biden is gaining one percent more than Trump. On average, the current American president's figures are 45% compared to 44% for his predecessor in office.
The lowest and highest levels in the polls for Biden and Trump are in the range of 40-50% and 39-49% for Trump, respectively.
According to The Economist, Trump's chances of winning were estimated to be lower than Biden's throughout the period from December 2022 to August 2023. And from last fall to this spring, the former US president had a higher percentage, until now, when the current head of state was able to pull ahead.
