Zelenskyy Notes the Diplomatic Role Aligns with Zaluzhnyi's Interests

President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has approved the candidacy of Valerii Zaluzhnyi as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Zelenskyy stated this in his evening address.

"Today I have approved the candidacy of the Ambassador of our state to the United Kingdom. General Valerii Zaluzhnyi told me about this particular direction for himself - diplomatic. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has sent a corresponding request to the agrement", - Zelenskyy said.


The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also released a statement confirming the president's words.

Recall that on February 8, Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Valerii Zaluzhnyi and appointed a new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces - Oleksandr Syrskyi.
