Ukrainian reconnaissance men sink a russian patrol ship in the Black Sea
At least seven occupants were killed on board the russian Black Sea Fleet patrol ship "Serhiy Kotov" and six others were wounded.
This was reported by the Press Service of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.
"According to preliminary data, as a result of the attack on the patrol ship "Serhiy Kotov", which led to the destruction of the vessel, the losses among the crew of the russian occupiers amounted to: 7 - irrecoverable; 6 - wounded", - the statement said.
The intelligence service clarified that another 52 crew members were evacuated. As a result of the attack by Magura V5 maritime drones, the ship sustained damage to the stern, starboard and port sides.
At the time of the attack, the ship was in the territorial waters of Ukraine, near the Kerch Strait. The sunken ship was valued at approximately $65 million.
As a reminder, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that more than 180,000 russians have died in the 2 years of war.
