President of Ukraine Reports Over 180,000 russian Fatalities in Two Years of War.

Ukraine has lost 31,000 servicemen during the two years of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by russian troops.

This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the Press Conference, "Ukraine. The Year 2024", President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

"31,000 Ukrainian soldiers died in this war. Not 300,000, not 150,000, which is what putin and his circle are falsely claiming. But, nevertheless, each of these losses is a great loss for us", - Zelenskyy said.

The head of state clarified that more than 180,000 russians died during the same period and stressed that he did not know the exact number of missing russians. However, he noted that if we count the killed, wounded and missing russians together, the figure will be 500,000 occupants.

"There are 31,000 Ukrainians and it is very painful for us. I won't say how many wounded, because russia will know how many people left the battlefield. I just won't talk about it", - Zelenskyy said.

The Ukrainian president also did not give the number of missing Ukrainians, but noted that tens of thousands of Ukrainian civilians were killed in the temporarily occupied territories, tortured or forcibly deported.

"We will know when we are done with them and with this russia", - Zelenskyy emphasized.

As a reminder, Ukrainian troops withdrew from Avdiivka to pre-prepared positions to prevent the encirclement of combat units serving there.
